About the Artist
Kathy Ferro Weiss, Optician and owner of Eye Contact by Kathy has been painting since childhood.
Her earlier expressions included still life, nature and figurative work. The impetus to energize and free boundaries led her to abstract painting.
During many years fitting contact lenses and observing highly focused images of the iris, fascinating patterns of shapes and color emerge.
Her colorful complex shapes and energetic movement define her work and powerfully convey the non-verbal language of Kathy’s passion.
